Head of Partnering Services - Asia, Middle East and Australasia

The Role

As the Head of Partnering Services at Imperial Brands, you will have Five direct reports based out of Australia, UAE, China and Cambodia. As a strategic leader you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of partnering services across the business. The role will be based in Taiwan and will report to the Head of People Services – AMET & ANZ. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to drive high-performance partnerships with external and internal stakeholders. Your role will require you to lead a team that drives collaboration, supports operational excellence, and ensures that partnering services are aligned with business goals, delivering value across the organization.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategy for Partnering Services, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and driving value across internal and external partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring mutually beneficial and productive collaborations.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • Oversee operational processes within Partnering Services, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and consistency across all services.
  • Act as the main point of contact for senior leadership and stakeholders, providing strategic insights and recommendations on enhancing the effectiveness of partnerships.
  • Monitor performance through established KPIs and metrics, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Act as a People Partner for Taiwan, providing advisory and administration support to that location.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership role in partnering services, strategic partnerships, or related fields, ideally within large, global organizations.
  • Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse teams while driving cross-functional collaboration and achieving business objectives.
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of developing and executing long-term plans that align with organizational goals and drive business transformation.
  • Expertise in managing complex relationships with stakeholders and partners, demonstrating strong consultative and negotiation skills.
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, with a proven ability to streamline processes, drive continuous improvement, and optimize service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and convey impactful messages.
