In this role, you'll ensure compliance with local legal and tax requirements and Group guidelines. Your duties include accurate bookkeeping, preparing tax returns, managing liabilities, overseeing financial reporting and cash-flow development, and leading a team of three accountants.

Principal Accountabilities

• Prepare Financial Statements and liquidity reports monthly.
• Monitor legislation changes and ensure compliance with local laws and tax authorities.
• Supervise the Accounting team and audit postings according to local legislation and Group Policy.
• Implement Group Policy in accounting and cash management.
• Manage Fixed Assets and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Provide direction for the effective operation of the Accounting department.
• English – very good command (written and spoken)

Skills and Experience Required

• Expertise in Financial and Management Accounting, including Taxes and Duties.
• Thorough understanding of Financial Software Systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Team player with a focus on achieving results.
