Principle Accountabilities

  • Project Planning & Management: Plan, manage, oversee, and report progress on execution projects, orchestrating day-to-day delivery activities and managing resources to produce required deliverables and outcomes.
  • Supplier Management: Support operational supplier management for delivery partners and suppliers alongside platform leads.
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure the delivery of assigned project deliverables and outcomes to agreed time, cost, and quality criteria.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow principles, policies, standards, and methodologies applied across all programmes and projects.
  • Governance & Oversight: Define and agree on appropriate project governance and oversight with the project sponsor, ensuring consistency with agreed standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify, resolve, or escalate any programme and project-related risks and issues to the Lead Project Manager and Business Partners as appropriate.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of complex, cross-functional, and cross-geography IT programmes relevant to the Centre of Excellence domain.
  • Proven ability to drive business change as part of IT programme delivery, with a demonstrated ability to assess evidence and make decisions that successfully drive project progress.
  • Considerable experience in the application of IT delivery methods (planning, scheduling, project control procedures, agile and classic approaches, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to build and manage key relationships with internal IS, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of working with teams spread across multiple locations.
