We’re now looking for a Global IT Local Engineer to join our high-performing Global IT team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for supporting critical IT infrastructure — from client hardware and software to servers, networks, and everything in between — across your region and occasionally beyond. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and partners across the business to deliver seamless service, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our people have the tools they need to thrive.

Principle Accountabilities

  • You’ll be the go-to expert for all local IT infrastructure, ensuring everything from laptops to network devices is performing at its best to support our people.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all hardware and software assets in your region, helping us stay agile, compliant, and ready for what’s next.
  • Drive the successful rollout of system replacements and upgrades, making sure our technology evolves in line with our global ambitions.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure robust IT continuity plans.
  • Implement non-standard systems that meet local needs while aligning with global standards.
  • Support and lead on exciting IT projects, from infrastructure changes to new service deployments, ensuring every change delivers real value.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Gain experience working in a similar role within a large, global matrix environment.
  • Experience working in structured service delivery environment, using service desk tools and ITIL principles to deliver consistently high standards.
  • Demonstrable experience in desktop application delivery, client/server solutions, and core Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, you’re confident diagnosing and resolving user challenges with speed and precision.
  • A collaborative approach and excellent stakeholder management skills, you collaborate confidently with stakeholders to deliver solutions to a range of needs.
  • Detail-driven and compliance-aware, with a good understanding of structure, safety, and local regulations.
