We are seeking a Public Affairs Executive EU to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the EU Corporate Affairs Manager to shape and implement advocacy strategies within the EU legislative landscape. Your responsibilities will include developing engagement materials, conducting research, monitoring legislative developments, and establishing relationships with EU institutions and stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in EU policy.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support the creation of high-quality engagement materials such as policy positions, briefings, and presentations to drive Imperial’s EU advocacy strategies.
  • Monitor and report on EU legislative and policy developments that may impact Imperial’s business operations.
  • Perform legislative analysis and research on various regulatory matters on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Assist in managing relationships with EU institutions and key stakeholders.
  • Produce regular reports and updates for both internal and external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant degree in Politics, Law, Communications, Sociology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate environment or the EU institutions;
  • Strong understanding of the EU legislative and policy-making process.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
