We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP S4 HANA Test Lead to join our team and lead the testing efforts for the FICO (Finance and Controlling) and Supply Chain, Procurement modules of our SAP S4 HANA transformation. This critical role offers you the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the seamless execution of all testing phases. As the Test Lead, you will be instrumental in overseeing the testing process, from planning to execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results on time and within budget. Present to the leadership team decision on Go Live.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with both Global and Local IT teams, Function Leads, Business Testers, and Offshore Business Partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage across the SAP landscape. Your leadership and expertise will be key to driving testing activities and ensuring the success of one of the most significant IT transformations within the company.

Fixed term contract opportunity, immediate start and end date January 2026. Role reports to the Programme Manager Australasia. Norwest Sydney based role with flexible work from home.

Must have full working rights in Australia, sponsorship is not available for this role.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Manage a team of Five, Lead end-to-end testing for SAP S4 HANA FICO and Supply Chain modules, ensuring alignment with project objectives for test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing, collaborating with business users to validate requirements and functionality.
  • Oversee defect management, ensuring timely identification, reporting, and resolution of issues to maintain project quality.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to ensure clear understanding and prioritization of testing requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts, while ensuring effective tracking and communication of testing activities with the offshore team.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong expertise in leading end-to-end testing for SAP S4 HANA, including FICO, Supply Chain, and other core modules, ensuring alignment with project objectives across multinational environments.
  • Proven ability to manage System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing, coordinating with diverse global teams and ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Extensive experience in defect management, tracking, and resolution, ensuring minimal project disruption while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a strong ability to drive testing initiatives across various regions, balancing quality and timelines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
