The Role

As a key member of the local leadership team, the Finance Manager Nordics will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and management across three markets: Sweden, Norway, and Finland. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of accounting, statutory reporting, controlling, and performance management.

You will provide financial insights to support decision-making, ensure compliance with local regulations, and partner closely with other functions including Operations, Sales, Marketing, P&C, and Supply Chain to align strategies with financial goals. This is a high-impact leadership role, directly managing the finance function for the three markets. Principle Accountabilities

  • Drive performance by analysing results against budgets and forecasts, leading scenario planning, and delivering market-level reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead financial planning & analysis, overseeing the business planning and budgeting cycle, and contributing to long-term strategic planning for the Nordics.
  • Oversee accounting, statutory reporting, and controlling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders in Operations, Sales, Marketing, P&C, and Supply Chain to ensure business strategies are financially viable.
  • Manage financial risk by identifying exposures, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and mentor the finance team, building capability and providing financial training to non-financial managers.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in financial leadership within a large, complex, and matrixed organisation (FMCG experience preferred).
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, accounting, and reporting across multiple markets.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with proficiency in systems such as SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in English is required, with additional proficiency in a Nordic language is desirable.
