The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP BTP Application Manager to join our IT Operations team. In this role, you’ll lead transformative projects using the cutting-edge SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), driving integration, data analytics, automation, and more across global operations.

As the SAP BTP Application Manager, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of service management, ensuring solutions align with business needs and vendor performance standards. Principal Accountabilities

  • Managing the set of contractual obligations and services to ensure that the best value is being driven out of our Outsource Partners for the overall IT service towards our IB Business.
  • Ensuring ITIL v4 processes are devolved and maintained across outsource partners and retained organisation work effectively for IT and the business.
  • Be the SPOC (single point of contact) and SME (subject matter expert) for the operational IT around the applications (SAP BTP platform) in scope; ensures processes and procedures with vendors for continuity, incident management, problem management, change management, service management and other ITIL processes.
  • Support the overall SAP RISE Contract Manager with expertise in measuring and validating the actual application utilization within the system landscape.
  • Work with Finance and Procurement to ensure that all the necessary data is available to enable timely validation of costs/invoices, and resolve issues arising. Analysing data to enable the identification of cost drivers and then working with stakeholders, delivery teams etc to optimise services.
  • Maintaining an awareness, understanding and support in the implementation of the vision and strategy for ITIL processes and IT Application Management for applications in scope.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience of application management and end-to-end IT support
  • Proven experience of operating large scale integration platforms with multiple business stakeholders and IT suppliers
  • Proven experience with SAP S4 BTP or S4 integration
  • Experience of SM tools, technologies and SM/ITIL methods in the remit of Global Service Delivery
  • Background in information technology with a clear understanding of the challenges of operational IT, information management and modern Cloud infrastructures and services
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
