The Role

As Demand & Forecasting Lead, you will take ownership of demand planning and forecasting for Germany. You will guide a team, collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business, and play a key role in shaping strategic direction through accurate forecasting and meaningful business insights. This is an opportunity to combine people development, commercial understanding, and data-driven thinking while supporting continuous improvement and digital transformation. Principle Accountabilities

  • Oversee the demand planning and forecasting process across multiple product categories within the German market 
  • Own forecast performance, supporting high levels of forecast accuracy and continuous improvement 
  • Support, develop and empower a forecasting team to achieve shared objectives 
  • Coordinate the Integrated Business Planning (IBP process and align forecasting activities across key business functions 
  • Translate forecast data into clear business insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders 
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve forecasting processes through automation, digitalisation and best practices 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong expertise in demand planning, forecasting, IBP, S&OP or related planning processes 
  • Experience developing teams and supporting performance within a complex business environment 
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into practical business recommendations 
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple functions 
  • Experience supporting process improvement, transformation, automation or digital initiatives 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to different audiences
