The Role

Permanent Full Time role, this Trade Executive opportunity is all about driving growth and building brand presence by turning insights into practical, results-focused plans.

The territory covers Melbourne’s south-east including St Kilda, Oakleigh, Springvale, Dandenong, Mordialloc, Chelsea, Frankston, Leongatha, Mirboo, Stratford, Orbost and surrounding areas, as well as Tasmania, with travel required across regions.

It’s not a checklist role, you fully own your patch and focus on what will make the biggest difference. By building strong retailer relationships, spotting roadblocks, and taking targeted action, you win where it matters most. An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Own your territory: Use data to plan and prioritise where you spend time—focusing on the highest-value stores and opportunities, not blanket coverage.

  • Build strong retailer partnerships: Be the main commercial contact, grow long-term relationships, run business reviews, and resolve any issues that impact performance.

  • Spot growth opportunities: Analyse store-level data to identify underperformance, distribution gaps, and insights that can unlock growth.

  • Turn insights into action: Capture market intel and recommend clear, actionable ideas to shape priorities and improve outcomes.

  • Deliver targeted execution: Focus on key outlets—lifting distribution, improving availability, optimising pricing, and tackling root causes that hold performance back.

  • Work safely and responsibly: Follow WHS guidelines, manage risks, and help maintain a safe environment for yourself and others.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Ability to use data and insights to identify growth opportunities and prioritise high-impact activities
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to engage and negotiate with retail partners
  • Commercial acumen with experience driving sales, improving distribution, and optimising in-store execution
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, solve problems, and execute targeted plans independently
  • Communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a territory and adapt to changing priorities
