Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll deliver independent, insight-led assurance while supporting the development of others and contributing to a culture of proactive risk management.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead and deliver a range of internal audits in line with the annual IA programme, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Plan, scope and coordinate audit assignments, working closely with Senior Audit Managers and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and review audit work undertaken by team members, co-source partners and guest auditors, providing coaching and guidance.
  • Identify risks, root causes and systemic issues, challenging the business appropriately and delivering value-adding recommendations.
  • Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, supporting management with the implementation of agreed actions.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives through leadership, reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, training and deputising for senior management where required.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree level education (or equivalent experience) together with a recognised professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA or ACCA), and strong financial audit experience.
  • Proven experience in data analytics and IT General Controls, with at least 1 year of audit management responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and build strong global relationships.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to approximately 30% of the time, typically no more than two weeks at a time).
  • Desirable: prior audit experience in a manufacturing environment and/or project or programme governance, along with additional language skills (particularly French or Spanish).
