The Role
Are you an experienced manufacturing, engineering, or technical professional looking to step into a role with weekday hours, fewer shift pressures, and more variety in your work? Come join Imperial Brands at our Liverpool Hub.
This opportunity offers the chance to use your technical skills in a daytime, Monday–Friday R&D environment, supporting prototype manufacture, equipment trials, and innovation projects — without production line targets or rotating shifts.
Imperial Brands is going through a major transformation, with a new CEO setting an ambitious and exciting vision for the future. One major change is the creation of a new Chief Consumer Office (CCO) – a central function which covers Innovation, Insight, Marketing and Portfolio Management and Imperial’s next-generation propositions (NGP).
The Process Equipment & Test Technician plays a key role in developing next‑generation products and process technologies by operating manufacturing equipment to produce prototypes and product samples.
The role also involves carrying out testing and quality checks to ensure all outputs meet the required standards that support the company’s ambitious innovation programme and growth objectives.
This role operates within a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment and plays a critical part by producing high quality prototypes meeting strict project schedules
