The Role

We are excited to announce that we are now looking for a new Procurement Manager (New Generation Products category) in our Warsaw office to join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25000 employees.

 

The Procurement Project Manager will collaborate with Manufacturing Partners and liaise across other functional teams, driving robust and transparent procurement decision-making. Their role will play a key part in the supplier relationship management, represent the Next Generation Products Procurement team and assist the manufacturing partner on new product introduction.

 

Please note – while the role is located in Warsaw (offering a 50/50 hybrid work, some domestic and international travel on short notice is likely to be required).

Principle Accountabilities

  • Project manage the development, implementation, successful execution of the New Product supply strategy in conjunction with category, innovations, supply chain, operations, finance and technology realisation leadership teams
  • Accountable for driving the new supplier onboarding and complying to Imperial Brands standards and ways of working
  • Negotiate new product costs for new designs and report as part of stage gate reviews, as well as driving annual negotiation
  • Interface regularly with Senior stakeholder Forums within IMB to align and make recommendations on New Product Introduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and projects delivery

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven track record of Project Managing Procurement with a New Product Introduction as part of a stage gate process
  • Proven track record to influence and manage internal and external senior level stakeholders, and in managing strategic relationships
  • Mechanical/Electrical or FMCG category management procurement experience (including technology and outsourced manufacture experience)
  • Experience in onboarding new partners, new product and/or process instructions and project management
  • Strong interpersonal skills including drive to achieve results, negotiation and strategic skills
  • Fluency in English
