The Role

As Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the Secondary Logistics Team Germany. Together, we hold responsibility for ensuring the reliable supply of Finished Goods for the German market. In this role, you will work on all logistics processes – from transportation and warehousing to material replenishment at strategic distribution and storage locations. Your focus will be on maintaining a smooth material flow and continuously improving processes.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and review of departmental process improvement initiatives aimed at achieving exceptional service levels, reducing lead times, and optimizing operating costs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all inventory movements in and out of internal and external storage facilities, ensuring timely updates and reporting in the inventory system in line with Imperial’s guidelines, processes, and policies.
  • Support the coordination of daily warehouse operations, including goods receipt and inspection for quantity and condition, as well as the timely dispatch of goods to internal customers.
  • Organize and perform monthly stock reconciliations through inventory checks with relevant stakeholders and generate reports on inventory movements across the logistics department and associated facilities.
  • Plan and coordinate inventory requirements with key stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials, mitigating any potential disruptions to Imperial’s logistics operations.
  • Implement and monitor stock control measures on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with the internal group control matrix.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Solid background in logistics, preferably within secondary logistics operations
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong command of German, minimum B2 level
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and SAP systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Strong organizational abilities and proven prioritization skills
