The Role

Location: Warsaw, Poland

  • The Data Lead role reports into the Global Data Tower Lead
  • The Data Lead is a key role in the Global Data Tower providing in-depth knowledge and expertise about the key Planning & Supply data domains and entities relevant for the ISC Program.
  • The Data Lead plays a pivotal role to meet the transformation objectives of the ISC program by guiding program stakeholders on data standards, data management and data quality aspects.
  • The Data Lead owns and continuosly evolves the catalogue of key XXX data domains and entities to drive maturity improvements initiatives in data standards, data management and data quality.
  • Act as custodian of data governance and data quality to continously improve data management maturity for key XXX data domains and entities of the ISC Program.
  • The Data Lead role leads on key data initiatives to define data definitions, data standards and data quality rules enabling the transformation objectives of the ISC program.
  • Working with the Data Analysts and Global IT Integration Lead to continously evolve the required XXX data models to meet the data and integration requirements of the ISC program.
  • Functional Program Towers, BPO's and functional stakeholders PMO, Global IT Delivery, Unify

Principle Accountabilities

  • The Data Lead will work with the functional towers, BPO's and other stakeholders to identify and catalogue key data domains and entities.
  • The Data Lead will work with the functional towers, BPO's and other stakeholders to identify, define and catalogue data definitions, data standards and data quality rules for key.
  • The Data Lead -alongside the Global Data Tower Lead and Business Process lead and together with Global IT - identifies change requirements with respect to data management processes and supporting technologies.
  • The Data Lead together with Project Management will project manage data initiatives including identification of scope, developing of work packages, project plans and budgets.
  • The Data Lead represents the ISC program and activily participates in the Data Governance Forums chaired by Global IT.
  • The Data Lead informs and works with Global IT and PMO on the implementation strategies of the Data Management roadmap, especially the implementation of MDM, Data Quality and data management technologies.
  • The Data Lead role supports the Functional Towers and Global IT Delivery in identification of data sources, data mappings and data quality rules required for DataHub integration builds.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management in FMCG industry
  • In-depth expertise of End-to-End processes and supporting technologies with respect to Supply-Chain-Management
  • Excellent understanding of a Supply Chain Business Data Model and Data Flows along the Supply Chain value chain
  • Thorough understanding of data management, data governance and data quality concepts
  • Thorough understanding of data integration and master data management concepts
  • Accountable, the ability to focus and strong attention to detail
  • Organisational awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders on all levels both through formal communication and informal networking.
  • Experience in Project Management is desirable
