Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide expert tax advice and consultancy on business and technology transformation projects.
  • Drive project planning for tax considerations and appropriate tax strategy for various initiatives.
  • Lead and oversee tax-related workstreams, ensuring alignment with project goals and tax policies.
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements to minimize tax non-compliance risks.
  • Influence stakeholders to integrate tax considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Stay informed on tax legislation and advise on necessary adjustments to project strategies.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in the field of taxation in an international group or in a tax advisory firm
  • Deep understanding of tax laws and regulations (and more specifically UK and International), as well as experience in developing and implementing tax strategies
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously, knowing when to seek guidance on material tax risks.
  • Naturally curious with a continuous improvement mindset, adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to detail, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative working style, able to resolve issues across the organisation and externally.
