The Role

An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for a Project Coordinator for our New Generation Products. Play a key role in delivering Imperial Brands’ most strategic NGP launches. You’ll drive products through the Product Introduction Process, champion market rollouts, and ensure every launch meets expectations on time, on budget, and at the right quality. With NGP at the heart of our strategy, your work will have a visible, meaningful impact across the business.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Act as the primary PCC and market-facing contact by providing guidance for specific launches, supporting the initiation and review of Project Initiation Documents, liaising with Project Initiators and key functions, ensuring projects progress through the PIP process, and gathering market information on laws and regulations.
  • Partner closely with the NGP Realization Project Manager on innovation launches by owning market‑specific activities, ensuring PIP requirements are met, and maintaining strong communication with markets and clusters.
  • Lead and coordinate NGP projects through the full Product Introduction Process by initiating and running kick‑off meetings, preparing and distributing comprehensive project briefing documents, coordinating activities across various functions, and ensuring clear communication of all requirements to stakeholders and markets.
  • Drive timely, issue‑free project delivery by tracking project status against agreed timelines, ensuring stakeholders complete tasks on schedule, maintaining transparent communication, and proactively resolving bottlenecks.
  • Support regular project update meetings by presenting portfolio status and current issues, ensuring full transparency through weekly updates and tracker tools, and reporting issues and risks as they arise.
  • Maintain strong project governance and documentation by proactively capturing risks and learnings, communicating updates promptly, and archiving all project documentation.
  • Provide cross‑team continuity by deputizing colleagues during their absence and supporting the Line Manager on cross‑functional projects, as well as ongoing team improvement and development activities.

  • Good Project Management skills and Product Introduction Process knowledge,
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement,
  • Clarity on the communication with stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge sharing,
  • Good working knowledge of IT programmes e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PLM system, Knowledge of other IT Systems e.g. SAP-APO, PLM is advantageous,
  • Fluent English, additional languages are advantageous.
