The Role

The Investigations Case Workflow Lead delivers operational oversight, administrative management, and analytical support to the Global Investigations & Intelligence function.  This role oversees investigation cases from logging initial reports through to closure, ensuring investigations are recorded and triaged appropriately via E&C, assigned to the right investigators, progressed within required timescales, conducted consistently and professionally, provides effective communication with key stakeholders and ensures investigations are closed with evidence‑based outcomes and assisting with thematic reporting.  They ensure the case management process is robust and auditable.

Working closely with Investigations Managers, the Head of Investigations & Intelligence, and the E&C team, the Investigations Case Workflow Lead helps ensure investigations are executed efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with internal procedures and legal obligations. The post holder plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, evidence governance, and case management consistency across global operations.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Identify thematic and emerging risks, patterns of misconduct, and operational trends across casework
  • Lead coordination of complex investigative logistics, including interview planning, evidence‑gathering activities, and cross‑functional engagement.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the end‑to‑end investigations workflow, ensuring it is efficient, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Monitor case progression, investigator capacity, and case assignments, proactively identifying risks, delays, and priority investigations.
  • Map current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure adoption of consistent processes and high standards of case handling across all investigators and teams.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential

  • Strong operational organisational skills with experience in case management, project coordination, and experience of operating in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
  • Proven proficiency with investigations case management systems, document management platforms, and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work within structured processes and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent cases.

 

Desirable

  • Familiarity with OSINT tools or basic analytical techniques.
  • Experience working in a multinational or cross‑functional environment.
