Imperial Operating System (IWS/IL6S) Manager - Manufacturing

The Role

An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for an Imperial Operating System Manager. As an IOS Manager you will be responsible for driving the performance of the factory by delivering the IOS implementation across the Radom site. This exciting and challenging role is on a Site Leadership Team Level - you will have the opportunity to be a part of a Factory Management Team. 

Principle Accountabilities

• Owning the deployment & implementation of Stop the Stops (StS) and implementation & governance of IOS pillars in our production site to deliver breakthrough results, enhance OEE, MTBF by building self-sufficiency at site & Business Unit Levels
• Ensuring the site expands StS to all lines, promoting a standardized, efficient and sustainable operational model across the company.
• In close collaboration with global IOS Management, creating and delivering an IOS Site Deployment Plan.
• Building capabilities of organization pillars, daily management of systems and equipment owners.
• Leading the site pillar review process. Ensuring PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) being followed.
• Promoting, communicating, and educating on IOS: Coach site teams for sustainable practices and collaborate with other sites to reapply best practices.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven track record as a qualified Integrated Work System (or equivalent) practitioner with extensive experience in implementing IWS methodologies within tobacco or FMCG sector.
• Significant operational experience in IWS (or IOS), with the skills required for the specific phase of the plant.
• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
• Exceptional skills in teaching, coaching, and developing others with a focus on CI methodologies and a deep passion for the work to inspire others.
• Effective communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify and eliminate process losses.
• Credibility and engagement on the production floor, with a hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with teams performing the work.
• Willingness to travel, and fluency in English & Polish.
