The Role

As the Data Workstream Lead, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of all data-related activities for the Unify program, a complex transformation that is making Imperial Brands more simplified, efficient, and data-led. This program spans multiple markets and factories, and your role will be critical in ensuring high-quality data drives effective business processes and decision-making.

You will design data strategies, oversee data migration, cleansing, and cutover plans, and coordinate local data activities to ensure alignment with global objectives. You will work closely with technical experts, markets, and factories to define target-state data models within SAP S/4HANA and implement solutions that underpin the success of the program.

This is a challenging and rewarding role, ideal for someone with expertise in complex data environments, stakeholder management, and business transformation programs. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Unify delivers clean, accurate, and actionable data, enabling markets and factories to unlock value and insights from the new systems.

Please note that this role is for 18 months starting January 2026 and ending June 2027

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of the data strategy, including master data requirements and data objects.
  • Develop and execute data migration, cleansing, and cutover plans aligned with programme timelines.
  • Collaborate with markets and factories to define local data cleansing requirements and rollout activities.
  • Coordinate global MDM solution implementation and assess legacy data with technical SMEs.
  • Manage data teams and stakeholders across complex environments, including contractors and system integrators.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and ensure alignment with programme milestones.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in complex data design, conversion strategies, and SAP technologies with Master Data Management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ImB business processes, reporting requirements, and CFIN Unified Data Model.
  • Proven ability to manage data migration, cleansing, and architecture across cloud platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP data models and functionality in large-scale programmes.
  • Experience managing multiple data projects from planning to benefits realisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills, simplifying complex information and supporting business transformation.
