Join Imperial Brands PLC as a Senior Trade Marketing Manager and lead our efforts in crafting and executing innovative trade marketing strategies that leave a lasting impact on our market presence.

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Strategy Development: Craft and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with our commercial and marketing goals. Analyze market performance, consumer trends, and competitive dynamics to uncover growth opportunities and refine strategies.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of trade marketing professionals, driving high performance and development.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute impactful trade marketing campaigns, including product launches, brand activations, and point-of-sale promotions. Efficiently manage the trade marketing budget to maximize ROI and resource utilization.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing activities and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure trade marketing strategies are cohesive and effective.
  • Client and Supplier Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, suppliers, and business partners. Negotiate with suppliers and distributors to secure the best commercial and service agreements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant experience in a similar role such as Trade Marketing Manager or Brand Manager, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese. 
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, strategic influencing, and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to interpret and leverage market and sales data.
