Key accountabilities

  • Planning, Coordination, and Supervision of all strategic and local brands regarding the technical realization of printed packaging materials for the PD Region; coordination of print projects including documentation; providing consultancy to Group Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Design agencies to optimize designs for economic production.
  • Technical Artwork and Print Management: Planning and coordinating the creation of Technical Artworks and Good to Prints; responsible for complying with predicted and adapted timings within the project briefing in alignment with PCC; approval of the first print run.
  • Print Standards and Supplier Management: Determination of print standards and specifications for suppliers (print method, colours, ink and tool suppliers); specification of the print source and method in cooperation with the Procurement Department; qualification of new printers.
  • Cost Management and Administration: Implementation and application of cost management activities; estimation of one-off costs (Repro, tooling, etc.); creation of Purchase Orders and checking of invoices from Repro and Print suppliers.
  • Consultation and Internal Support: Providing consultation regarding print items for internal customers including Group Marketing, Regional Marketing teams, and Design agencies.
  • Digitalization, Automation, and Process Improvement: Supporting the digitalization, automation, and improvement of print software; developing concepts for new software and enhancements (including MS Power Automate and AI solutions); aligning software changes with colleagues, stakeholders, and IT; staying up to date with the latest trends in digitalization and automation.

Skills & experience

  • Degree in print related engineering or substantial practical experience in production industry, print engineering focused.
  • Knowledge of various printing techniques and print development solutions (offset and gravure, colour management and print reproduction)
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong capabilities in teamwork and communication.
  • Demonstrated strong ownership of dedicated tasks.
