The Role

To lead and own the commercial strategy and execution across Europe and the Americas (USA and South America) or SEEMEA and APAC, managing a significantly expanded cluster with €60M in Operating Profit and 20 direct reports.

This role is pivotal in driving sustainable growth, strategic customer partnerships, and commercial excellence, while contributing to the strategic direction of the CLT.

Principle Accountabilities

 Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Define and execute regional and channel strategies aligned with global priorities and local market dynamics.
  • Own and deliver the regional P&L, ensuring profitability, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the transformation from a middle size regional setup to a high-impact commercial hub comparable to Iberia cluster.
  • Drive pricing strategy and margin optimization based on market insights and competitive dynamics.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Develop effective account plans and lead trade advocacy and customer engagement initiatives across Europe and Americas (USA and South America).
  • Ensure visibility and availability of portfolio aligned with travel nationalities and market priorities.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing, culturally diverse team across geographies.
  • Deliver results through others by empowering team members, aligning cross-functional efforts, and cultivating a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Lead virtual and remote teams effectively, fostering engagement and accountability.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure our new Integrated Business Planning (IBP) model is working effectively, enabling better alignment between commercial, supply chain, and financial functions.
  • Align closely with KAM, Marketing, Finance, and domestic markets to ensure integrated execution.

Skills and Experience Required

  • University degree with 10+ years of experience in FMCG executive roles (ideally including duty-free or travel retail).
  • Minimum 5 years in Sales or Key Account Management at regional/multi-country level.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large, remote, and cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Fluent in English; additional European or American languages are a plus.
  • Passion for international travel
