      THE ROLE

      We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team in Lisbon. This position will support day-to-day accounting and payroll activities and play an important role in an ongoing ERP transformation project. You will work closely with internal Finance stakeholders and external accounting partners, contributing to accurate financial reporting and smooth operational processes.

      PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

      • Provide day-to-day support to the Accounting team, including basic accounting entries, account reconciliations and assistance with month-end closing activities
      • Support payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal procedures and adherence to applicable legislation
      • Assist in the ERP transition project from Primavera to SAP S/4HANA, supporting data migration, system testing and validation activities
      • Provide first-level support to users during and after the ERP implementation phase
      • Liaise with external accountants and support the preparation and sharing of accounting reports
      • Maintain organized, accurate and up-to-date accounting and administrative documentation

      SKILLS AND EXPIERENCE REQUIRED

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics
      • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations and month-end closing activities
      • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems, with Primavera knowledge considered essential
      • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately within deadlines
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including accountants and payroll providers
      • Good communication skills in English and Portuguese; Spanish is an advantage
