The Role

We are looking for a commercially minded and analytical Demand Planning professional to help shape our market demand outlook. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end forecasting process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, BI, and Supply Chain to ensure forecasts reflect the latest market and business insights. You will play a key role in turning data into actionable demand plans and continuously improving our forecasting capabilities.

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Principle Accountabilities

  • Manage the end-to-end demand forecasting process across short-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons.
  • Analyse sell-in and sell-out data across categories, identify deviations from targets, and develop corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the monthly demand planning cycle in IBP while maintaining high data quality, forecast models, assumptions, and planning standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, RGM, Finance, Business Intelligence and Supply Chain to ensure forecasts reflect the latest commercial plans.
  • Translate promotional activities, portfolio changes, distribution shifts, and pricing actions into quantified demand assumptions.
  • Support the Forecasting & Demand Manager with stakeholder alignment, senior-level demand outlooks, and continuous improvements through digitalisation and advanced analytics.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field 
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in sales & marketing / sales planning / logistics 
  • Strong communication skills & ability to challenge and influence stakeholders 
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills &  
  • High level of detail orientation & structured problem-solving capability
  • Very good English skills
