The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Analytics Executive to develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions. Knowledge and experience of building predictive models, data-driven tools, and front-end applications to address complex business challenges. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in areas like clustering, decision trees, forecasting, and data visualization using Streamlit, cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks) is key. Role reports to the Analytics Manager. Permanent Full time role, based in Bellavista, Sydney. We are an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Develop and deploy data science solutions (clustering, decision trees, forecasting) to address business challenges and drive decisions.
  • Build and maintain user-friendly front-end applications using Streamlit for business stakeholders.
  • Analyze large datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Pricing, Category, Insights) to align solutions with business needs.
  • Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks) for data storage, processing, and model deployment, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Continuously refine models based on feedback, document findings, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, with 2+ years of experience in predictive modeling, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, and data visualization libraries; hands-on experience with clustering algorithms, decision trees, forecasting tools, and front-end development using Streamlit or similar platforms.
  • Cloud & Industry Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure DevBox, Databricks) for model deployment and data processing; familiarity with the tobacco or FMC/FCT sectors is a plus.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Expertise in working with complex datasets, developing scalable solutions, and refining models through experimentation and feedback.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong collaborative mindset and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work across teams.
