The Role
An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for a Forecasting and S&OP Team Manager. You will be responsible for leading a team of forecast analysts and overseeing the end-to-end sales forecasting process. It involves facilitating cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders, monitoring forecast accuracy, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
Principle Accountabilities
Management of a forecast analyst team,
Facilitate S&OP meeting and collaborate,
Ensure sales forecasts are captured, challenged and aligned between the different stakeholders (mainly sales representatives, finance, insights, marketing,)
Manage the reporting on the forecast accuracy and overall supply KPI under responsibilities,
Continuous improvements of the forecast accuracy & S&OP process,
Develop and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making.
Skills and Experience Required
Strong analytical capabilities and in-depth understanding of business/financial interrelationships between marketing/sales strategies, pricing, volumes, and cost structure.
Understanding of basic internal financial measures such as earnings and Cash flow.
Clearly demonstrated excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a large, complex organization and on team mode,
Experience evaluating the performance of the business and what levers should be pulled to drive performance
Well-developed organization skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
