The Role

This is a high-impact opportunity to turn data into decisions that shape business strategy. You’ll transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, helping identify performance drivers, risks, and growth opportunities across categories and channels.

From delivering timely reporting and maintaining KPI frameworks to supporting planning cycles and scenario modelling, your work will directly influence senior stakeholders. You’ll also help enhance analytics through automation, improved dashboards, and advanced modelling, while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong data governance.

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Principle Accountabilities

  • Translate complex data into clear, structured, and actionable insights for key stakeholders
  • Identify performance drivers, risks, and growth opportunities across categories and channels
  • Deliver accurate, timely reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking frameworks
  • Support strategic planning, business case development, and scenario modelling
  • Track brand and competitor performance to uncover trends and gaps
  • Drive improvements through automation, advanced analytics, and strong data governance

Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field
  • Strong analytical capability with a proven ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Confident communicator, able to translate complex analysis into simple, compelling messages for non-technical audiences
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Commercial Finance, or analytics, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Advanced technical skills including BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), strong Excel, and working knowledge of SQL; experience with Python or similar tools is a plus
