The Role

Key Accountabilities

  • Leading tactical sourcing activities (new spend and contract renewals) within defined operational spend and risk levels.
  • Overseeing organization and allocation of work for team members involved in procurement activities.
  • Identifying, recommending, and implementing best practices and innovating ideas to improve speed, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Providing regular mentoring, coaching, evaluation, and constructive feedback to the team.
  • Working closely with business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits, and compliance with existing contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, utilizing eProcurement tools to improve processes and efficiency, and monitor non-compliant buying activities.

Skills & Experience

  • Good level experience in team management, leading a sourcing team.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; additional language skills desirable.
  • Proficient in using procurement sourcing platforms.
  • Good understanding of the End-to-End Sourcing process (S2P).
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong numerical, financial, and data analysis skills.
