The Role

As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing our brand and commercial strategies to life in the Czech market. Working at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, you will lead trade marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, strengthen customer engagement, and drive business performance. From in-store activations and POSM deployment to budget management and performance analysis, you will ensure that every initiative is executed with excellence and delivers measurable results.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll partner with Sales, Consumer Marketing, Key Accounts, Finance, Procurement, and external agencies to deliver outstanding trade marketing programmes. You'll combine strong project management skills with analytical thinking to identify opportunities, optimise investments, and continuously improve execution in the market. Based in Prague, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence commercial success while contributing to the growth of iconic Imperial Brands portfolios.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead and deliver assigned Trade Marketing projects from planning and execution through to post-activity evaluation.
  • Manage Trade Marketing budgets, monitor spending, and ensure investments align with business priorities.
  • Develop and execute in-store activation programmes and point-of-sale materials (POSM) to support commercial objectives.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and agencies, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective execution of marketing activities.
  • Drive the deployment, optimisation, and performance of Trade Marketing assets across the market.
  • Analyse market performance, trade KPIs, and promotional effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations to improve business results.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, or a related commercial function.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English and Czech language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work with data to support business decisions.
  • Experience within an FMCG environment and willingness to travel occasionally would be an advantage.
