Permanent Full time role, learn and develop your sales career. Competitive salary and bonus scheme. Get ready to be the face of Imperial Brands! As our Territory Manager, you'll be the go-to contact for retailers in your assigned area, bringing our business plan to life and making things happen.

You'll negotiate trading terms, ensure our core product range is front and center, execute exciting activities, and seize every opportunity to boost revenue and market share.

The area covers beautiful Bundaberg, Harvey Bay, Childers, Fraser Island, Gin Gin, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Agnes Water, and surrounding areas – with an exciting travel schedule that includes One overnight stay every quarter.

Report to a collaborative leader i.e. Area Sales Manager, who genuinely cares for your personal and professional development in a close knit team environment. 

The role

  • Customer’s World: We understand customers, their markets, and their needs. As trusted advisors, we create win-win solutions and become the preferred supplier.
  • Data Into Dollars: We turn data into actionable sales strategies, clearly communicating IBA’s role in driving commercial success.
  • Strategic Selling: We use insights to grow customer businesses, not just switch share, and actively pursue new opportunities.
  • Negotiation: Skilled negotiators who plan, execute, and review with consistency, driving sales and profit for both IBA and customers.
  • Steps of the Call: Every customer interaction follows a structured, action-oriented process, ensuring mutual benefits and continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities

  • Selling Expertise: Proven success in direct selling, ideally within FMCG, with a strong track record of securing new business.
  • Commercial Acumen: Knowledge of retail principles, pricing, and margin, with the ability to analyze data and craft compelling proposals.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communicator, skilled in negotiation and presentations, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build lasting relationships with retailers, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering value.
  • Flexible mindset: Organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to travel and work independently.
