The Role

Hey, Brand Champion!

Ready to lead and shape brand strategy for the DACH region, with a strong focus on Germany? As a (Senior) Brand Manager, you'll take ownership of translating global strategies into local market success—setting strategic direction, defining targets, driving planning, monitoring performance, and leading bold, insight-driven brand activations.

In this role, you'll provide leadership across cross-functional teams, partnering with the Global Consumer Office (GCO), regional markets, category experts, and key functions including Sales, Trade Marketing, and Insights. You'll influence decision-making, align stakeholders behind shared objectives, and ensure flawless execution to accelerate brand growth.

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Principle Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of (Junior) Brand Managers, fostering strategic and creative growth.
  • Co-create brand campaigns and consumer experience platforms to build strong, locally relevant brand equity.
  • Develop insight-driven brand strategies and holistic MEPs (Marketing & Execution Plans) for the German market, ensuring alignment with global guidelines.
  • Design portfolio architectures, validate new business opportunities, and implement brand initiatives relevant to the DACH region.
  • Create bottom-up budgets to assess investment needs for brand initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse brand performance, recommending adjustments to meet KPIs and strengthen brand health.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • 3-5 years of proven brand marketing experience in FMCG, ideally in Germany; tobacco experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading a Team
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and effective influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects, and drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
