The Role

Are you a qualified accountant who enjoys tackling complex financial challenges, applying technical expertise and working at the heart of a global organisation?

We're looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to join our Group Finance team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in managing the financial accounting, reporting and control activities while contributing to complex restructuring initiatives and strategic financial projects.

If you thrive on solving challenging accounting problems, value collaboration and are looking to develop your career within a global finance environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Principle Accountabilities

  •  Take ownership of financial accounting, statutory reporting, financial planning and control activities for designated Group entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
  •  Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on complex Group restructuring, corporate reorganisations, tax-related transactions and changes to capital and funding structures.
  •  Oversee financial controls, balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  •  Partner with Group Tax, Treasury, Legal, Finance Shared Services and international finance teams to support effective financial management, reporting and entity governance.
  •  Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, supporting half-year and year-end reporting processes and ensuring high-quality audit deliverables.
  •  Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, system improvements and cross-functional projects, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, controls and operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required

  •  Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised professional qualification).
  •  Strong technical accounting experience, including practical knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and complex accounting matters within a corporate or professional services environment.
  •  Experience in financial accounting, controllership or audit, with the ability to independently assess complex financial issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  •  Sound understanding of financial controls, balance sheet management, risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.
  •  Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels, communicating technical financial matters clearly and effectively.
  •  Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the confidence to manage competing priorities, contribute to complex projects and work collaboratively across international teams.
