The Role

Location: Bristol-Hybrid

Duration: 6 month Fixed Term Opportunity

We’re now looking for an Analytics Project Manager to play a key role in shaping how data informs decisions across our commercial and marketing teams.

In this impactful role, you’ll develop advanced analytical models, translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, and help evolve the tools that power our data‑driven future. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you’ll apply statistical and machine learning techniques to build solutions that are robust, scalable, and closely aligned with business needs.

Principle Accountabilities

 

  • Develops, maintains, and enhances statistical and machine‑learning models to address commercial and operational challenges.
  • Collaborates with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines, high data quality, and effective model deployment.
  • Applies strong data governance principles and promotes the ethical use of AI across all analytical work.
  • Uses platforms such as Azure and Databricks to build, test, and run data‑science solutions.
  • Translates analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial, marketing, and other business teams.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to define analytical needs, improve internal tools, support junior colleagues, and ensure model‑driven features are intuitive and user‑focused.

 

Skills and Experience Required

 

  • Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and applied statistics.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, with practical knowledge of key machine learning frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience working in cloud environments such as Azure and Databricks.
  • Proven ability to manage, process, and analyse large and complex datasets.
  • Effective communicator, able to clearly present insights and explain technical concepts.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering practices, data governance, model validation, and ethical AI principles, with a strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
