At Imperial Brands PLC, we are seeking a Senior Analyst – Insights & Intelligence to support the growth of our Next Generation Products (NGP) portfolio in Portugal.
In this role, you will be the go-to expert on market dynamics, competitor activity, and consumer behavior—translating complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations. Your intelligence will be pivotal in guiding product positioning, pricing, promotions, and investment decisions that strengthen Imperial Brands’ competitive edge in this fast-moving category.
Principal Accountabilities
Market & Consumer Insights – Track NGP trends, assess category growth potential, and deliver actionable forecasts at brand and SKU level.
Competitive Intelligence – Analyze competitor strategies and brand positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Strategic Guidance – Build data-driven business cases and post-launch evaluations to influence commercial and marketing strategies.
Performance Measurement – Evaluate ROI of trade investments and recommend ways to optimize resources for profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement – Present insights and recommendations that enable informed decision-making across teams and regions.
Skills & Experience Required
Solid experience in insights, market research, or commercial analysis (FMCG category experience is highly valued).
Strong analytical expertise with tools such as Excel, visualization platforms, CRM, or data warehouses.
Ability to simplify complex data into impactful insights and strategic narratives.
Confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
Fluency in English required; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
