The role of UX/UI Design Lead sits in our global e-commerce platform. It forms part of the overall global technology team. You will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall function. In bringing NGP brands to life via digital channels and touch points in various markets, you will help NGP Digital translate business objectives, product roadmaps and its CX framework into best-in-class brand experiences that are valuable to our consumers and business.

In this role you will work closely with the Digital Product Owners and the Brand and Activation teams and turn their roadmap, needs and requirements into clear briefs for partner design agencies. This will involve overseeing planning, prioritisation and quality of the work delivered. You will need to put the consumer at the centre, champion problem solving and iterative design solutions via strong business acumen, data-oriented analysis and modern design approaches.

Key elements for success in this design leadership-oriented role are: strong design thinking, research, collaboration, stakeholder management, presentation skills along with your ability to facilitate workshops and prototyping activities. Coordinate planning, prioritization and manage quality of work done by partner design agencies.



  • Build brands via digital channels and touch points and lead the design and function of brand sites and NGP digital sales channels such as auto-ship, refer-a-friend, loyalty, check out account and lifecycle programs with brand team and product owners;
  • Translate digital product roadmap, CX framework and stakeholders needs and requests in design proposals into high performing design solutions for approval;
  • Drive innovation and empower UX, UI, content and creative teams to define, align, deliver and support experience-related deliverables including user research, flow diagrams and interactive prototypes for approval while balancing business objectives, user needs and technologies;
  • Coordinate planning, prioritisation and manage quality of work done by partner design agencies;
  • Lead UX/UI design system, design guidelines and framework roll out and usage;
  • Balance priorities between the brand, people, and technology;
  • Align stakeholders and team members towards solutions.  In this capacity, it’s critical to collaborate across teams, design and rationalise with conviction, and champion data/consumer-first approaches;
  • Provide UX/UI and design proposals in time for digital product teams.


  • 8+ years of experience working for global brands with D2C business (Fortune 500, enterprise B2C/B2B);
  • 8+ years delivering UX design solutions as a Senior UX Designer, Senior UI/Visual Designer or Senior Information Architect;
  • 8+ years of experience designing and prototyping responsive web, digital products or applications with Sketch & InVision;
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, human-computer interaction (HCI) or digital marketing;
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing, Sales and E-CRM is highly recommended;
  • Experience in working with Sketch and/or Figma including design systems;
  • Ability to lead workshops and support early stage planning with internal and external teams;
  • Facilitating strong design thinking sessions, synthesizing inputs and rapidly guiding solution and prototype approaches;
  • Experience developing complete UX/UI design systems; navigation, UI components and/or UX/UI design guidelines;
  • Experience leading, prioritising and supporting sales efforts in new UX opportunities.
