Trade Innovation & Effectiveness Manager, Europe

Here at Imperial Brands we have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Innovation & Effectiveness Manager to join our Europe team on a permanent basis. Using a wealth of consumer and trade data available to you, you will be responsible for driving innovation in store to win with our consumers and our retailers. Reporting into the Head of Sales Strategy for Europe, you will own the end to end drive for innovation, both digital and instore. You will be working closely with our experts in markets as well as our retailers across Europe building advocacy for our brands.

Key accountabilities

  • Implement and scale our European divisional sales strategy and effectiveness to drive innovation and advocacy with B2B2C
  • Partner with Market Managers and their Leadership teams to lead and upscale innovation and digital capabilities and efficiencies for Sales across the Europe Division
  • Conducts critical data analysis and drive recommendations through to implementation in market
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our business and develop a deep understanding of shopper behaviour and motivational retail engagement drivers to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop perfect Store Concept and implement

Skills & experience

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement innovation that drive commercial opportunities for growth
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data driven insights in order to improve shopper journey
  • Proven experience in omnichannel (online and offline) strategy
  • Agile and collaborative approach with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organisation, particularly in engaging markets to implement new ideas and approaches
  • Strong background working across sales or consumer focused roles, in a global FMCG organisation, retail organisation or similar
