The Role

Imperial Brands- an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for a Tactical Buyer with Italian within their GBS team in Krakow.

Tactical Buyer will be focused on tactical and transactional sourcing in Indirect Services and Technical Indirect Services (whole Europe), will also support category strategy development by delivering projects in cooperation with procurement Category teams.

Tactical Buyer will be responsible for end-to-end sourcing project including negotiations, supplier management, compliance, and spend reporting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Negotiates with external suppliers (phone, Teams, in person), evaluate and compare proposals, re-tender, renegotiate or extend contracts
  • Searches for new suppliers for new spend as required by business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Category Centre of Excellence and support implementation of commodity strategies.
  • Collaborate with Cluster Business Partners and support implementation of regional strategies.
  • Collaborate with business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance to existing procurement contracts.
  • Utilise eProcurement tools (eAuction/eBidding) to improve the procurement process and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Tactical Buyer (experience as a transactional buyer/tactical- front office)
  • Experience using Procurement sourcing platforms
  • Good understanding of End-to-End Sourcing process (S2P)
  • Strong Italian and English language skills – negotiation level
  • Ability to use Excel, Word, SharePoint/Teams folders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
