Within the Cluster Brand Marketing team, we are looking to appoint a new Senior International Brand Manager (m/f/d)!

This is a fixed-term role for
18-24 months.

What are you going to do?

As Senior International Brand Manager (Gauloises Blondes), you will work within the Brand Marketing function, Cluster DACH & Nordics, reporting directly to the Head of Brands Combustible. You will be responsible of ensuring validation and alignment of GoB (Gauloises Blondes) strategies, initiatives and tools to meet KPI’s cross markets. You will play a pivotal role within the Brands development, having a significant contribution in meeting the team’s objectives by growing the brand by developing consumer relevant brand initiatives and projects. You will work in close collaboration with all relevant Cluster / Markets, and you will be responsible of timely delivery of planned initiatives and deliverables for markets to localise according to plan.
This position presents a fantastic career development opportunity for an individual, who wishes to move into a high profile role and gain experience in Brand Marketing cross markets.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the international GoB brands business agenda, aligned with overall brand strategies. You will lead the brand transition from Global Brands to the Cluster and will manage the GoB brand in its international footprint as well as across clusters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead brand strategies and develop and continually review the brands’ performance, building on consumer insights and needs in existing and new channels/ geographies
  • Ensuring brand equity building, including the application of the brand equity template, range architecture, communication mix and consumer engagement strategy
  • Developing and implementing consumer/brand relevant pipeline of initiatives in line with Consumer needs
  • Implement brand consumer quality and product strategies
  • Develop and lead activation approach
  • Lead and participate within cross functional business growth projects, engaging stakeholders and ensuring business adoption
  • Lead, engage and motivate to develop the brand team
  • Ensure collaboration flow with the Divison and the creative agency in the conception of the brand basic toolkit

Your profile

  • Master’s Degree in economics and business or related fields
  • 10 years professional experiences in Marketing and sales or trade marketing experience
  • Demonstrable people and business leadership
  • International education or international work experience
  • Experiences in the Tobacco and FMCG market as well as a good level of product / packaging knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic way of thinking
  • Very good PC skills (MS office)
  • Self-confident and proven experience in stakeholder management
  • Articulate and capable of managing multiple priorities and projects whilst retaining flexibility
  • Deadline and results driven (delivering on tight time lines) with initiative and ability to work autonomously  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English, oral and written, preferably also in German
