The Role

Location: Poznan, Warsaw or Radom (hybrid)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Customs Compliance Coordinator to join us here at Imperial Brands.

 

You will be responsible for contributing towards Imperial's Internal Control Framework implementation and maintenance, ensuring the group effectively and consistently mitigates risks through robust testing procedures.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Leading Customs & Excise Tax projects
  • Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) management and maintenance
  • Leading of Customs & Excise Tax audits
  • Liaison with Customs & Excise Tax authorities
  • Testing and updating all tools needed for communication with authorities
  • Control Customs & Excise Tax processes ensuring compliance with all international trade requirements
  • Analysis of law requirements and implementation to existing processes, and technical specification for Customs systems

Skills and Experience Required

  • Knowledge of EU customs regulations, excise matters, customs procedures, export procedures and movement of goods regulations
  • Ability to analyse technical specifications provided by customs and excise authorities and the ability to transfer them to processes operating in the Company
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customs Agent Certificate will be an advantage to have
  • Fluency in English
