The role

Reward & Performance Manager
Permanent, full time

A great opportunity has become available for a Reward & Performance Manager to join our global reward team. The successful individual will be part of a collaborative team that will support the Head of Performance and Reward deliver the global strategy.  You will lead reward and performance projects including core cyclical reward activity such as the annual performance, salary, and bonus review. We are looking for someone with energy, knowledge and technical expertise who can build high quality Performance and Reward frameworks that deliver continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the Head of Performance & Reward in the implementation of the performance & reward strategy.
  • Support the Head of Performance & Reward by providing technical support in the development of reward, recognition, benefits & performance strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the HR Strategy.
  • Lead and successfully implement Performance and Reward projects
  • Develop and lead the annual performance, salary and bonus review process for the global senior management population
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by Head of Performance & Reward.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to review, recommend and approve all changes to reward / benefit programmes, in line with the governance framework. This will include technical design, regulatory aspects, strategic alignment, partner selection, business case, cost and risk.
  • Provide high quality and consistent advice and guidance to HRDs and business partners in relation to the company’s performance and reward strategy.
  • Provide advice to the business on the Company’s approach to job evaluation and benchmarking to maintain consistency, fairness, and assess appropriate methodologies.

Skills & experience

  • Proven track record of technical reward and performance expertise e.g. annual pay and bonus processes
  • Strong technical excel and analytical skills
  • Experience leading reward projects
  • Strong background engaging with stakeholders across all levels of a business
  • Strong background working with high volumes of complex data
  • Expert in sourcing, summarising and interpreting salary and benefit survey data
  • Knowledge of job evaluation and grading methodologies
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • HR system knowledge e.g. Workday is an advantage but not essential
