The Compliance Team is a key constituent in combating illicit trade, fulfilling Imperial’s legal and regulatory obligations in relation to a broad range of risks; and reducing Imperial’s exposure to potentially punitive (regulatory) financial penalties.

The team provides a critical 2nd-line capability that supports our global markets in the delivery of our 2025 business strategy, by ensuring we maintain a sustainable customer and third-party vendor base that is compliant with all necessary controls. The team is tasked with making sure that Imperial Brands trades only with third parties who undergo a strict vetting process and who are committed to honouring our code of conduct and all relevant policies.
