Job Profile Summary Description

Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager NGP Europe. Key areas of responsibility will be to drive Brand, Portfolio and Activation agenda within the Europe Region guaranteeing performance management by working collaboratively with Cluster Heads of Consumer Marketing, EVP Category team and other EU Regional functions. The role holder will be also critical enabler for sharing learnings and insight across the Europe EVP footprint and help markets to outperform in a developing and fast-paced category. The role holder will also be expected to liaise closely with Clusters, EVP category and other Europe Regional functions to achieve alignment and support to Region and Cluster Marketing agenda

Principal Accountabilities

• Define and lead Brand and Activation strategy and effectiveness across EU EVP market footprint aiming to develop repeatable, predictable and scalable across the Europe Division • Work with cluster marketing leads and the central marketing & portfolio management teams to co-create EVP category/ portfolio/ brand strategy • Ensure that centrally led EVP strategy is embedded in markets and enables in year P&L delivery balanced with key longer-term consumer objectives • Work closely with EVP category functions to assure coordination and alignment between agendas and plans in line with EU priorities especially on brand, portfolio and innovation development • Represent Clusters at group EVP forums and drive decision making centrally with category/ portfolio/ brand/ consumer teams • Input into all materials related to regional EVP performance to be escalated within the business, i.e. Board presentations, OPEX presentation, regional Dashboards & relevant business reviews • Be the Go-To Person, Partner & influence with Cluster Heads of Consumer Marketing to upscale Brand Planning and Activation strategy • Partner with cluster marketing teams to identify and drive best practice to be shared across EVP EU markets • Conducts critical strategic, analytical, and operational projects that deliver increased revenue, profit, productivity • Work with Regional Marketing Leadership team to provide performance management as required including continual management of risks & ops mitigating actions • Consolidation of information from Clusters on Regional level, preparation of Business Cases together with Clusters on need base

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential •8+ years’ experience across Brand and Activation management roles in a global FMCG organisation •Senior Leadership experience in Cluster or Markets •Experience in driving Brand Campaign, Portfolio and innovation development as well as Brand Activation in markets •Experience of operating and collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and interacting with Senior Stakeholders •Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills in a complex matrix organisation •Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables Desirable •University degree in BA, master or MBA •Excellent English plus another European language desirable (German, Spanish, French)
