Here at Imperial Brands we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Lead to join our Smokeless Tobacco team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role where you will be leading innovation projects across the business unit, working with multiple teams to deliver against our business objectives.

This is an exciting time to join our Smokeless team due to high levels of investment and innovation activities.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Act as a partner internally with teams such as Insights & Intelligence, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance and Marketing to discover solutions that are then project managed with development teams through realisation to deployment with confidence built through continuous consumer validation
  • Deliver a variety of Innovation projects, leading internal teams and agencies from concept to launch for new and existing product development
  • Work with and manage internal clients globally, listening closely to consumer needs, sharing regular product updates and delivering a superb product experience aligned to the business expectations
  • Develop close working relationships with critical stakeholders across the business
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to help translate the business requirements into user stories and backlog deliverables.
  • Manage and work with the product design, design and innovation teams (including agencies where required)
  • Partner with consumer experience, insights & Intelligence and brand marketing teams
  • Build out the best market defining products and consumer experiences

Skills & experience

  • Strong project management/lead experience, ideally within a consumer product development role
  • Experience leading project teams to deliver against business goals
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all different levels of a business
