The Role

As part of the Trade Marketing team you will work closely with the Head of Trade Marketing and the Trade Marketing management team, Heads of Sales, Area Business Managers and the associated Business Partner functions (Insights & Intelligence, Brand Marketing, Procurement, HR & Finance) to deliver various cyclical and one off change programs / projects within Trade Marketing.


You will be responsible for the governance, design, planning, resourcing and risk management of multiple concurrent projects to ensure delivery on time, on budget and as specified by applying the appropriate project management processes, methods, tools (utilising Project Place software) and techniques.


By enabling and ensuring project management practice is applied consistently and thoroughly throughout the entire process, you will ensure the successful delivery of strategically important, new product launches and business changes whilst providing regular progress and status updates to key steak holders.


You will also lead the standardization of key business templates to help guide the project team and ensure consistency in all our Trade marketing presentations.

About you:

  • Lead the end-to-end project delivery of our market initiatives;
  • Create and maintain the end-to-end project plan, including highlighting the critical path and ensuring any variances that impact upon it are communicated to the Head of Trade Marketing and steering committee;
  • Create and maintain project level documentation (budget, risk & issues, resource, change, action etc.), including highlighting any material variance to plan;
  • Ensure all required input is gathered, collated and shared with the relevant audience from project teams, to enable creation of project progress reports;
  • Coordinate, facilitate and document weekly stand up meetings with workstream/delivery leads;
  • Coordinate, facilitate and document ad hoc project meetings as required (risk management, lessons learnt, best practice etc.);
  • Actively identify, mitigate, and escalate (as appropriate) any key risks associated with our projects;
  • Initiate, scope & define the project deliverables that will bring the business outcomes;
  • Ensure effective project governance and reporting, in line with business program and project management standards;
  • Lead, support and motivate the project teams;
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and/or enablers (3rd party suppliers);
  • Proactively seeks new and/or improved ways of working, capturing lessons learnt during and after each project completion;
  • Identify and manage dependencies with other projects and key business activities;
  • Preparing and maintaining an overall schedule for resource use, which avoids bottlenecks and conflicting demands, sequencing outcomes, to enable the efficient realization of benefits:

Skills and Experience

  • 5yrs+ experience managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Professional Project Management Qualification (e.g. Prince 2, PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent certification;
  • Full time Project or Program Management experience, managing product launches / marketing cycles / business process changes in an FMCG or equivalent environment;
  • Previous experience in the management of digital projects (CX, digital program, customer care, etc.);
  • Effectively planning, managing, monitoring and reporting on multiple global projects simultaneously;
  • Effectively managing and escalating risks in complex, pioneering projects;
  • A Proactive, empathic, transparent and collaborate management style;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving capabilities, and comfortable with uncertainty;
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office;

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the annual governance plan including all key meetings and deliveries for the Trade Marketing Team;
  • Manage the governance plan trough project plan assuring that we met the delivery of our plans;
  • Build the skeleton of power point presentation assuring that we use consistent delivery style;
  • Assign project leads for the different delivery managing bottle necks and capacity of the team;
  • Report to the Head of Trade and DRG the status of each project, coordinating the project leads assigned & making sure that we foresee potential conflicts between project and resources;

  • Professional Project Management Qualification (e.g. Prince 2, PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) certification or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent verbal & written presentation, communication and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Manage multiple projects and able to drive the delivery
  • Capacity to influence & build strong relationship both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Naturally pragmatic and solutions orientated.
  • Proficient in MS Office
