The Role

Our Procurement team is structured into Category teams, Business Partnering and Regional teams, and Procurement Excellence and Transformation. This role will report directly to the Procurement Senior Manager for Process, Systems & Data, who leads one of the three pillars within the Procurement Excellence team.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying current processes and policies, formulating future strategies, and supporting their implementation within our Procurement system landscape. Your efforts will drive consistency and excellence across all procurement teams.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Establishing consistent Procurement ways of working across the end-to-end Sourcing to Pay process, incl. Source-To-Contract as well as Purchase-To-Pay processes and Buying Channel deployments.
  • Managing the functional Procurement policies, processes and alignment within the procurement system landscape, ensuring alignment with business risk appetite, integration with adjacent processes and compliance & governance through implementation of good practice.
  • Managing the roll out, implementation & training around Procurement Processes and system guidance as well as managing Procurement training needs identification for process and collective training plans.
  • Driving continuous improvement of procurement policies, processes and tools.
  • Managing requirement definition and collection for implementing standard processes within the Procurement system landscape and act as solution matter expert for Procurement.
  • Managing procurement data requirement gathering and their implementation within the Procurement and relevant ERP system landscape.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Procurement processes, including Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Purchase to Pay, Buying Channels, and Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Policy Implementation: Proven experience in implementing Procurement policies, providing relevant training, and managing ongoing policy compliance.
  • Training: Skilled in developing and holding of user training, identifying training needs, and coordinating training plans.
  • Matrix Environment Experience: Adept at working within a matrix environment, collaborating with Process Owners, Group Risk functions, and Technology Experts, both in team settings and independently.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong influencing, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, experience with process mapping tools (ideally Signavio), and Procurement Systems (ideally SAP Ariba, SpendHQ PPM), with the ability to travel internationally approximately 15% of the time.
