For our PLM team in Hamburg, we are looking for a PLM System & Process Integration Manager (m/f/d)!

The Role

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system is one cornerstone of Group Supply Chain Information Technology, integrating together PLM processes and data to protect our licence to operate and maximise agility and efficiency in our route to market.

The PLM Systems & Processes Integration Manager is accountable for integration of PLM BOM management processes and systems into the overall Supply Chain processes. The critical element of the role is to ensure alignment with the ERP strategy, E2E planning system and other related projects to build a solid overall process and system architecture, throughout the GSC transformation.

The individual will lead a Senior Process and System Specialist who oversees all continuous improvement for the BOM module and also a Masterdata Specialist in charge of the analysis of specification data either for further improvements on the active PLM BOM module or for further PLM scaling projects.

The role requires an in-depth knowledge of the ARAS system functionalities and capabilities, with at least 10 years’ experience in PLM developments. The ability to understand end to end system architectures through demonstrated analytical skills, customer service orientation and strong interpersonal and communication skills and a must.

What are your major duties?

PLM integration into End to End Supply Chain system landscape:

• Actively engage with Group IT, supply chain and operations to integrate further PLM system in the end to end supply chain and create an end to end digital thread.

• Align on optimal processes and data flow and ownership between PLM and ERP systems.

• Define and propose PLM integration strategy for endorsement by senior management. Represent PLM in governance forums associated to the overall system landscapes.

• Define requirements for PLM integration as well as necessary PLM changes to secure PLM continues delivering expected benefits and even more considering new integrations

• Manage PLM system integration and necessary changes for interim and long term phases and be the point of contact for all related PLM specification management topics for the related projects.

Continuous improvement, roadmap and further PLM integration in overall end to end supply chain:

• Identify gaps and challenge current process to create value proposition and scale efficiencies for the PLM specification module.

• Work closely with the Business Process Architect to ensure alignment of the solutions with PLM vision and safeguard consistency of the system and single source of truth.

• Contribute to the scaling of PLM system to other Product Groups through requirement definition.

• Build our Future by keeping up to date with current industry PLM trends and technologies.

Change management and end user support:

• Drive PLM vision, promote adoption of PLM by seeking best change management practices to empower end users

• Determine PLM information and technology needs and actively engage with GIT on maintenance strategies and necessary IT operation excellence.

• Manager of the team, develop and enable the individuals, align on workload and priorities

Who are your skills?

• Deep knowledge of ARAS capabilities and architecture with 10 years’ experience in the domain
• Knowledge of ERP system capabilities and integration techniques
• Sound understanding of BOM process fundamentals
• Analytical and problem solving skills and not afraid ability to challenge status quo
• Ability to see the big picture and to define overall system landscape
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills to establish positive working relationships across all functions and regions.
• Relevant experience in driving Organisational Change Management to adopt new systems, ways of working and processes
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills
• Experience in Agile system development and regulated applications including data migration.
• Problem solving, optimisation
