Within the Logistic Relations team in Oosterhout, we are currently looking for a new Logistics Officer Benelux.

The role

As Logistics Officer you will support the Senior Logistics Coordinator Benelux role concerning the operational execution of the Imperial Tobacco Supply Chain in the Benelux for both the domestic market as well as ITIL. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that all operational and administrative tasks involved in the supply chain process get executed at the right moment and in the right manner to ensure the timely fulfilment of supply and demand according to plan.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily follow up of stock reconciliation: document stock counting / comparison in all in-market ITG warehouses (bounded & non-bounded, destruction)
  • Coordinate & conduct a yearly wall to wall stock count with all in-market 3PL’s
  • Daily follow up on execution excellence of Track & Trace with all logistic service providers Benelux
    • Daily follow up on Track & Trace complaints of customers
    • Assist & backup of the Track & Trace champion / Key user for repairs
  • Monthly Follow up & controlling logistic invoice flow for the domestic markets
  • Regular Customer delivery Analysis (cost versus volume/deliveries)
  • Execution of excise declaration process across the Benelux
  • Weekly for BL markets / Monthly for NL market
  • Assist with warehouse audits
  • Processing and administration of destruction stock
    • Attend destructions as Imperial representative towards Customs
  • Monthly update & maintaining of logistic KPI’s
  • Follow up administration on occurrences of thefts, damages or other logistic claims
  • Coordination of sales representative storage facilities: access allowance & info sharing
  • Assist our customer service desk in logistic processes (for example: Return process from our customers and Anti-forestalling based activities)
  • SAP Key user, assist in all testing of changes, upgrades & new logistic processes


The assignment of the Logistics Officer is to execute the day-to-day logistic operations in order to achieve operational excellence on in-warehouse-stock keeping, customer deliveries and track & trace.
