The Role

We are recruiting an Innovation Operations Analyst to work within our Process and Governance pillar of Imperial’s central Innovation function. Reporting to the Head of Innovation Process & Operations, this role will be cross-category and have a global remit.

Key Accountabilities

  • Providing support in maintaining Ideation to Launch process standards and best practice
  • Ensuring compliance and reporting performance of all projects and programmes within the critical commercial end-to-end process - Ideation to Launch.
  • Provide support to the Head of Innovation Process & Operations in forum administration, including agenda creation and decision reports
  • Improve process with regards to data management
  • Consolidate data from a variety of formats into a cross-category project database and provide succinct regular reporting.
  • Develop and manage the cross-category project database and resource tool, tracking key project KPIs and provide real-time queries i.e. business cases achieving a specific KPI within the last 2 years in EVP category or forecasting resource utilisation for a specific department for the next 6 months based on current projects in the pipeline.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven ability to understand complex sets of data and manipulation thereof
  • Proven experience in working with Workflow Management software or resource utilisation software i.e. Planview suite
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyse & consolidate data from a variety of sources including meeting minutes, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
  • Proven understanding of waterfall and agile project management practises
