For our Insights & Intelligence team in Vienna (Austria), we are looking for a new I&I Manager (m/f/d).

THE ROLE:

The I&I Manager will be part of the local management team and responsible for providing consumer-centric insights, facilitating business planning, driving and aligning strategy, identifying innovation-related opportunities as well as providing business performance analyses across all 3 categories operating in the market.

The I&I Manager will lead, inspire and engage a high-performance team by providing leadership, strategic direction and personal & team development for two direct reports.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Champion Insights generation via translation and clear communication of research and analysis findings into actionable business recommendations for the development of strategies and tactics that deliver a competitive advantage.
  • Sharing of best practice and continuous improvement for identifying new analytical methodologies, forecasting and scenario planning techniques as well as research and innovation tools to raise the bar on overall delivery and performance.
  • Ownership for holistic and consumer-focused market reading as well as progress tracking on key success metrics, facilitate discussion and drive out clear plans of action.
  • A key part of this pivotal role is Business planning & development where the I&I Manager will identify commercially attractive opportunities, proactively initiate strategic business discussions, orchestrate company business planning processes and lead specific projects.
  • Support Business Reviews with Senior Management providing comprehensive perspective on consumers, customers and competition.
  • Provide intelligence and scenario planning for optimal Pricing strategy in light of tax regime, competitive and consumer context to support business objective delivery.
  • Responsible for short and long-term volume forecasting and production planning including close liaison with a variety of stakeholders such as Production, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master’s Degree in economics and business or related fields
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a significant research/analytical/strategy development role
  • A good understanding of consumer trends and knowledge on how to effectively interpret them
  • A broad and detailed understanding of current market dynamics including the competitive environment
  • An in-depth knowledge of pricing and taxation
  • Understanding of Consumer/Shopper/ Trade Research as well as innovation processes
  • Experience of managing and developing a high-performance team
  • Experience in implementing change
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels with experience of implementing change
  • Excellent leadership, people management and development and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English – both written and spoken, additional language skills are a plus, particularly German
  • Numeric and analytical skills; know how to drive out and apply insights
  • Ability to draw conclusions, reach decisions and make recommendation
  • The ability to create SMART short- and long-term plans as well as monitoring and adapting based on changing dynamics
  • The ability to build sustainable relationships both internal and external
